Bumblebees is our Preschool Room for children in the year before school and focuses on supporting a smooth and confident transition to formal learning. Practitioners build school readiness skills through a balance of play-based and intentional learning experiences. Practitioners introduce early literacy and numeracy, including phonics, letter recognition, counting, and number concepts, in meaningful and age-appropriate ways. There is a strong focus on developing independence, attention, and listening skills through group learning, routines, and daily responsibilities. Children are supported to follow instructions, work cooperatively, and build confidence in expressing their ideas, helping them feel prepared and capable as they move on to school.
