Dawn is our dedicated Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) at Piglets Pre School.  She works closely with our children, families and staff to ensure that every child is supported to reach their full potential.

Dawn spends time working with children individually and in small groups, including sessions in our Discovery Den, our calm and welcoming space designed to provide focused support through play.  She supports areas such as communication and language, social interaction, emotional wellbeing, sensory development and confidence.

​

Dawn also works alongside parents and outside professionals when additional support may be beneficial, helping to ensure that each child's individual needs are recognised and supported.

At Piglets, we believe every child is unique, every child matters and every child belongs - and Dawn plays an important part in making sure this is reflected throughout our nursery.
